Stupid User Stories: Part One

Greetings, I am going to start a blog series called "Stupid User Stories". Whenever I encounter a story of a computer user doing something not too bright I will post it. Perhaps we can all learn from these stories. These will be stories which I have personally encountered. Enjoy!!!

My first story happened on Friday. Someone on a vessel called me and said they had to rerun the cables for their computer. After reconnecting everything back the computer would not turn on. The user said that after pushing the silver power button on the monitor all he got was a window that said "No Video Source". After Explaining that the monitor and computer were two different things, the user found the appropriate power button and miraculously the computer turned on.
